What Our Customer SAYS

Your environment, and the people in it, shape your personality in your early years by telling you who you are. Most people believe that this personality is something that you are “born with,” or that it is who you are and that you cannot change. In psychology, we know that this is not true. It is true that you are told who you are when you are young and that you develop the habit of being that person through subconscious affirmations. Bandura (1977) tells us that once those habits are formed, your future becomes deterministic because you act in accordance with those subconscious beliefs, without being aware, and can only arrive at conclusions that follow those beliefs. We, in psychology, know, that this is not a life sentence. You can change those subconscious habits, if you know how, and if you know what you would like to change to.

This book introduces you to a process that can help you shape your personality for the performance that you want in your life. You can be better at anything if you know how. You can evolve toward self-actualization if you know how. You can be a great athlete, a great employee, a great parent, a great leader if you know how. I invite you to read and think about how personality is formed and how it can be intentionally evolved to accomplish the purpose of your life.
